Kansas Department Of Education's Requirements
Kansas Online form to register your homeschool (aka non-accredited private school)
Bare minimum nutshell:
- Register your non-accredited private school with the KDE once; update, if your school changes its address.
- Inform previous school of the student's transfer to your school.
- Keep attendance records - Kansas children between the ages of 7-18 must attend school for about 186 days or 1,116 hours
- Keep progress records in case student will in the future transfer to another school or go to College.
